Is Chrome taking over the browser market?

Looking at today's viewing statistics on this blog (about 700 views) Chrome browsers on Windows operating systems appears to be the order of the day. Internet Explorer and Firefox have been the main contenders for some time but the Google Chrome browser is taking a significant role on the Internet.
