Special Event Stations!

Greetings to All from Cornwall.
Pleased to see that GB4MNH and GB2MAD went ahead OK.
Last Sunday I was at GB2MOP (Museum of Power) near Aberporth
in S Wales. Not good propagation with lots of QSB. Best
station heard was the Geevor Tin Mine in Cornwall. Never
heard GB4MNH nor did the operator, Mike.

An ASBO to control the size of your antenna!

This is an interesting story from Redditch, the Radio Amateur only wishes to talk to his friends.

Special event station on Mad Sunday GB2MAD

The Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society is running a special event station on MAD SUNDAY (03-Jun-07) using the callsign GB2MAD.
The station will be located on Ballacreggan Farm, Plantation Road, Port St Mary (on the cross roads next to the school). Operation will be from 10:00 until we finish. Why not visit the station and give us some help, we need operators and willing workers!!
