German Visitors

A group of German radio amateurs are visiting the Island and staying at Eary Cushlin for a week. Over this weekend they have invited local Amateurs to pay them a visit and enjoy their hospitality and radio activity.

New Society Chairman

The committee are please to advise members that Godfrey Baillie-Searle GD4EIP has agreed to be co-opted as Chairman of the Society until the position can be elected at the next AGM (December). Godfrey brings to the committee years of Amateur Radio experience and a very positive drive and commitment to the development of Amateur Radio.

This situation has occurred because Keith MD0OHM has had to resign from Chairman as a result of personal circumstances. We would like to take this opportunity of thanking Keith for the valuable service he has given to the Society both as Chairman and Tutor and we look forward to seeing him as a continuing Society member.
