The IOMARS will be operating a radio station from Castletown for the International Museums Weekend. We will be supporting The Old Grammar School, Castle Rushen, The Old House of Keys and the Nautical Museum.
The station will be located next to the Old Grammar School and using the special event callsign GB4MNH (Manx National Heritage).
This international event has been running for a number of years and further details can be found on www.ukradioamateur.co.uk/imw/ .
We are delighted that Manx National Heritage are supporting this special weekend and we also look for support from Society members. We need station operators, people to set up and take down the station and people to speak to the public about the event. Please contact any Society committee member to register your willingness to help.
